The article known as Mangle is about a character, that will make an appearance in a future installment of the Five Nights at Freddy's SMBX fangame series.
As such, the information on this page doesn't represent the character's final state and might be subject to major changes during its development.

Mangle is one of the main characters of the Five Nights at Freddy's SMBX series.

She will be one of the playable characters in the second game and make her first appearance in the Kid's Cove, where she will be able to be selected by jumping at the Mangle block.

Outside of this, she will also be able to be selected at the start of a new game or when loading a saved game by selecting PEACH GAME mode.

Whenever Mangle gets damaged, she will be reduced to a form similar to her appearance from the original FNAF 2 and will become the appropriately named Broken Mangle.

Mangle is a human sized, bipedal, animatronic fox with pink hands and pink feet. Her body is mainly white, but her snout, the insides of her ears, her chest and her belly are pink. Mangle has a pointy, black nose and black eyes.

Broken Mangle is dog sized, quadrupedal, heavly damaged, animatronic fox with two heads and most of her endoskeleton exposed. Her main head is the same as her normal counterpart's in a slightly more damaged state with one eye missing and her second head is the actual endoskeleton head, which also has only one eye.

FNAF SMBX 2 (Alpha Build)

  • Mangle was the fourth animatronic to be added to the alpha build of FNAF SMBX 2
  • Mangle's idle sprite was made back in 2015, but due to their simultaneous work on multiple other projects, the creator of the FNAF SMBX fangame series was unable to make progress on Toy Chica and the game ever since
    • The concept of Broken Mangle was created in March 2018, but for now, no concept art or sprites of this form exist
  • Mangle's appearance is meant to mimic her appearance from Scott Cawthon's original Five Nights at Freddy's 2 game, but in a brand new state
    • As FNAF SMBX 2's Mangle was created back in November 2015 (a whole year before FNAF Sister Location), any similarities between her and Funtime Foxy are purely coincidental
      • As such, FNAF SMBX 2's Mangle was an entirely new concept to the Mangle's representation, as up to this date, Scott Cawthon's Five Nights at Freddy's games from the main series only presented the original Mangle was in a badly broken state
  • Mangle's real eyecolor isn't noticeable ingame due to her sprites' chibified looks
  • Mangle and Toy Freddy will likely use the same health system
  • Broken Mangle's idle sprites were made in March 2018
  • Broken Mangle is the only asymmetrical animatronic in the FNAF SMBX series
